"Rise and Shine and give God the Glory Glory, Rise and Shine and give God the Glory Glory"
Anyone remember this song? One that our mother's woke us up with to try to annoy us? Well I now torture my 3 months old son with it...
Truth be told, I find I need to let my mouth speak truth as early at 6:30am or my attitude can quickly go downhill.
Between throw up, diapers, dirty laundry, clean laundry, not loosing the baby weight, the pullings of wife and mother, Noah hating naps...the list goes on. I often think to myself "what the heck am I doing????" I started asking the Lord each morning to do whatever it takes to draw me to Him, that I would be so in love with Him. I don't want to be phased to easily and have my faith feel shaky with every little thing.
Last week we found out Rob is being laid off---(you often get what you pray for!)
We know alot of people who have lost their jobs and i guess we always seem to think it won't happen to us...but it did. We aren't sure what tomorrow holds, but I do know I'm still asking the Lord to speak His truth LOUD to my heart--everytime i start to feel anxious, or fear or wonder what can they really do to us if we just don't pay rent??

Praying for you, friend. Why don't you join our Bible reading plan? It's really helping me stay focused lately and Pastor Jon blogs about what he's learning which is SUPER helpful with the chapters that make no sense to me!
We are in Deuteronomy 23-25 today. It's 3 chapters a day and 5 on Sundays!
Love you,
Bran
Praying for you girl! We have been through 2 job losses and God has always provided and grown our faith in him. It's amazing how much closer you get to HIM when things are not easy.
I have been thinking the same thing in the mornings..I am going to pray I begin to hear that sone too.
Your little guy is so sweet, I hope you come closer...I need my turn to hold him!
